Nebraska Cooperative Council Education Foundation (NCCEF) Scholarship Application is Now Open

The application for the Nebraska Cooperative Council Education Foundation’s (NCCEF) scholarship is open now through April 15, 2025.
Students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR), the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) at Curtis, and the University of Nebraska-Kearney (UNK) pursuing the specified majors below, and who meet local cooperative affiliation and Nebraska Cooperative Council membership requirements, are encouraged to apply. All scholarships will help fund 2025-26 academic year expenses.
The NCCEF scholarship program includes:
Eligible students must have a parent or legal guardian who has been an active member, director or employee for at least the prior three years of a cooperative which has been a Council member in good standing for at least five years.
Scholarship committees at UNL, NCTA and UNK will select recipients based on the criteria established for each scholarship. NCCEF is not directly involved in the selection process but verifies local cooperative affiliation and Council membership requirements.
Since the 1993-94 academic year, the NCCEF scholarship program has provided 251 scholarships totaling $364,700 as a part of the Council’s youth education efforts.
Students who meet the requirements should complete an online application form and submit it as specified by each institution by April 15, 2025. Visit www.nebr.coop/foundation/scholarships for more information.

- Seven $3,500 scholarships in honor of Michael S. Turner to students majoring in Agribusiness or Agricultural Economics at UNL. One scholarship will be awarded to a freshman student, with the remaining going to upperclassmen students.
- One $3,500 scholarship in honor of Robert C. Andersen to an upperclassman majoring in Agribusiness or Agricultural Economics at UNL.
- Two $2,500 scholarships in honor of Michael S. Turner to students at NCTA majoring in Agribusiness or an Agriculture Production Systems major.
- One $3,500 scholarship in honor of Michael S. Turner to an upperclassman student majoring in Agribusiness.
